U.S. Navy visit (29/5/08) The U.S. Navy visited Ronald McDonald House on 29th May 2008. There were 20 soldiers who helped to do tidy and cleaning the Hse, for example kitchen cleaning and gardening.
Standard Chartered Bank Volunteer Service Day (21/6/08) "The Standard Chartered Bank Volunteer Service Day" was held on 21st June 2008. 20 RMH families were benefited. Everyone enjoyed, for example making egg tarts, playing games, taking photos with Ivan Chan, the Olympic torch bearers and having buffet lunch at the office building of Standard Chartered Bank.
Volunteer Appreciation Dinner In appreciation to the volunteers who work tirelessly for the House in 2007, Ronald McDonald House honored them at the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, which held at Eaton Hotel on January 25, 08. At the dinner, awards for hours of service and Most Outstanding Volunteer Award were presented. In 2007, 2,500 individual volunteers and 100 volunteer agencies helped us in the following services: House visits, house cleaning day, festival celebration activities, kid's birthday party, fundraising programs and kid's interest groups. We could not do the work success without our volunteers. Let's give a big thank you to them again.
